Why This Show Matters
There’s nothing like the electric moment when the house lights dim and a young performer steps into the spotlight. At OWPTC, our EDU Stage exists to build confidence, celebrate uniqueness, and teach excellence through collaboration. Every ticket you buy directly fuels that mission—funding rehearsal space, costumes, sets, and the mentorship that turns nerves into courage and first lines into ovations.

A Director’s Note from Adam Silorey
When we started OWPTC, I thought we were building shows. I quickly learned we’re really building people.
This production is a love letter to our students’ bravery. You’ll see kids who, a few weeks ago, were shyly reading lines now owning the stage with bright voices, clear choices, and big hearts. You’ll hear harmonies they practiced on repeat and watch storytelling they crafted together—listening, responding, and taking care of one another. That’s the whole point.
Our rehearsal room is intentionally a place where effort counts as much as talent. We stretch, we try again, we cheer each other on. We talk about what it means to be an ensemble—how every scene partner helps tell the story, how leadership looks like kindness, and how excellence is really just courage plus repetition.
Parents, thank you for trusting us with your kids. Students, thank you for your grit, your laughter, and your fearless imagination. Community, thank you for showing up—your presence tells these young artists their voices matter.
See you in the theatre.

Thank you Adam, Scarlett has done more then a few activates in her short time and she has come home after having good days and bad days. But with Theater she has a glow about her and confidence that can only be brought on by an amazing group of people to support, encourage and push her at rehearsals. Looking forward to this weekend and seeing the kids shine.
Thanks Adam, you are developing character and teaching each child that they are important, unique and loved. All while delivering exceptional entertainment. Your hard work, dedication and love does not go unnoticed.
